Kinetic Blueprint is a biomechanics-driven training studio in Austin, focused on structure, movement, and long-term performance. We're a Functional Patterns studio in Austin. Every client begins with a movement assessment, and every program is built from that data.
507 Pressler Street, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78703. Old West Austin, walkable from Clarksville and downtown. Free on-site parking garage with 400-plus spaces.
Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Saturday 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Sunday by appointment only. Every session at the studio is by appointment, not walk-in.
We're a biomechanics-first studio built around Functional Patterns. Instead of isolating muscles or chasing symptoms, we measure structure and gait, then train you to move the way the human body is designed to move. It's not stretching, it's not Pilates, it's not generic personal training, and it's not the same as physical therapy. It's a system built around assessment data and the four core human movement patterns.
Kristie and Benjamin Merworth. Kristie is FP-certified at HBS Level III with a B.S. in Business and 15-plus years in the industry. Benjamin is FP-certified at HBS Level IV with a B.S. in Kinesiology and 15-plus years in the industry. The studio is named for their kids, Kadence and Bander.
Founding Members lock in launch rates on assessments and training packages. Spots are limited. The program is active while inventory lasts, and the easiest way to hear about it is to join the Free Blueprint email list.
Yes. Every session at Kinetic Blueprint is by appointment, starting with a movement assessment. The Complimentary Consultation ($0) is the lowest-commitment way to come see the studio. All scheduling happens through Arketa.
The Complimentary Consultation + Movement Analysis ($0). Guided studio tour, movement and posture observation by a practitioner, and a clear next-step recommendation. No card on file, no obligation.
No. We work with clients across every fitness level, from people in chronic pain to high-level athletes. Most new clients are not in peak shape when they start. The 4-tier assessment ladder matches you to the right starting point.
Comfortable clothes you can move in. There's no specific dress code. For the Complimentary Consultation you won't be training. For an assessment, plan to move through some basic patterns under observation, flexible workout clothes are the move.
Specific session lengths are confirmed at booking and shown on each Arketa booking page. The Complimentary Consultation is the shortest format. The Kinetic Blueprint Assessment is the most comprehensive and runs longest.
We review the data with you, walk through what it implies, and recommend the next step: Private Training, KBX classes, recovery sessions, or a combination. Nothing is auto-enrolled. You decide what to commit to based on the plan we built.
Functional Patterns is a biomechanics-first methodology built around the four core human movement patterns: stand, walk, run, throw. Instead of isolating muscles or chasing symptoms, we measure structure and gait, then train you to move the way the human body is designed to move.
Stand, walk, run, throw. They're the patterns humans have always done. Get them right and the rest of life gets easier. Each is trainable. We measure, coach, and re-test these patterns across every program.
The three phases of the Method. Measure is the assessment phase, we capture the data on your structure, gait, posture, and history. Map is where we build a personalized plan from that data. Move is the training phase, sequenced around the four core patterns with re-test points built in.
Strength layered on misalignment magnifies the misalignment. As Kristie puts it: "strength without alignment only magnified what was already misaligned." So we build alignment first and load it after. Structure determines what everything else can do.
Physical therapy typically works in 6-to-12-week blocks focused on resolving a specific diagnosis. Functional Patterns is an ongoing training methodology that addresses the structural root rather than the symptom, and the work continues after a pain or injury resolves. PT and FP can complement each other.
It depends on the starting point and consistency. Clients with chronic pain often report meaningful change within 4 to 8 weeks of consistent training. Structural changes (posture, gait) take longer and show up on re-test. We discuss your specific timeline during the assessment review. No specific outcome is guaranteed.
The Complimentary Consultation ($0) is a guided studio walk-through plus movement analysis, best for beginners. The Jumpstart ($135 launch sale, regularly $235) is a quick check-in for clients already trained in FP. The Foundational ($279 launch sale, regularly $379) is the deeper dive most new clients choose. The Kinetic Blueprint Assessment ($499 launch sale, regularly $599) is the most comprehensive and is built for athletes and long-term clients.
Membership tiers get introduced 1-on-1 after your assessment, because the right tier depends on your training frequency, your goals, and which services you use most. We want the recommendation to fit your plan, not a price list. The 4-tier assessment ladder is the public on-ramp.
Private Training packages run in 10, 20, and 30 session blocks. A Couples Promo session and a Monthly Training Payment Plan are also available. Specific package pricing is walked through during your assessment so the recommendation matches your training cadence.
Yes for KBX classes, drop-in pricing is available for the six class formats. For recovery sessions and Fitness Analytics sessions, ask at your assessment so we can match you to the right session and frequency.
Launch-sale pricing on the Jumpstart, Foundational, and Kinetic Blueprint Assessment tiers is active. The Complimentary Consultation is permanently $0. After the launch window, regular pricing applies.
Founding Members lock in launch rates on assessments and training packages. Spots are limited and the program is active while inventory lasts. Ask about it during your assessment.
AI posture analysis, gait video, InBody body composition, VO₂ max, heart rate variability, grip strength, and lab panels where applicable. Which measurements run depends on the assessment tier you book.
Infrared sauna, PEMF Pulse X, Rapid Reboot lymphatic compression, and HaloRed O₂. All sessions are private appointments at the studio, available drop-in or as part of a membership.
Specific measurement inclusions per tier are confirmed at booking. Each Arketa booking page details what runs at each tier. As a rule, the deeper the tier, the deeper the Fitness Analytics stack.
HRV reading from your assessment is one signal. Your training load is another. Practitioners use both to recommend a recovery rhythm that compounds your training instead of fighting it.
A red-light exposure session paired with controlled oxygen. A combined-modality recovery session at the studio. Specific protocol details (duration, intensity) are confirmed at booking.
No. The literature on recovery modalities is mixed and depends on protocol. We don't lead with clinical claims. What we will say: clients who use recovery consistently tend to train more often and stay with the program longer.
